As a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist here atHoneywell, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing process forvarious categories of goods and services. You will work closely with cross-functionalteams to identify sourcing needs, develop sourcing strategies, and negotiatecontracts with suppliers. Your role will have a direct impact on cost savings,supplier performance, and overall supply chain efficiency.
You will report directly to our Sourcing Manager and you'll work out of ourBangalore location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
• Conducting market research andsupplier evaluations to identify potential suppliers
• Developing and implementing sourcingstrategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
• Negotiating contracts and terms withsuppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms
• Managing supplier relationships andperformance to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborating with internalstakeholders to understand sourcing needs and requirements
• Monitoring market trends and industrydevelopments to identify opportunities for improvement

You must have:

• 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
• 1 years demonstrated experience influencing others without direct authority.
• 1 years demonstrated high impact results in process improvement, including across functions.

• Demonstrated Business and financial acumen.
• Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools
• Expertise in core procurement systems including SAP & Compass
• High motivation with boundless energy to get stuff done.

• Effective communication and presentation skills
