**Key Responsibilities** Serve as liaison between the customer, Labsand the Applied Business Unit for assigned projects, ensuring clear understanding of external customer and internal stakeholder requirements and delivery of applicable solutions. Design, assess, and run processes, take measurements, and interpret data. Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output. Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations, technical reports and generate process engineering specifications. Drive the adoption of new technology at the customer site. Work closely with customers to demonstrate and introduce new technologies at customer sites, through Demos, on site evaluations, Joint Development Programs. Check and approve operational quality and continuous improvement of system equipment. Utilize techniques to characterize hardware, define methods and apply new technologies to characterize hardware, and/or perform hardware characterization on a wide range of complex systems for multiple products, within safety guidelines. Independently handle the entire job, deliver professional document with very limited supervision.**Minimum Qualifications** Demonstrates in-depth understanding of concepts, theories and principles in Etch/CVD/PVD/RTP (either one or multiple products is preferred) and basic knowledge of other related job families. Applies understanding of the industry and how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives. Identifies and resolves technical, operational, and organizational problems. Guided by policies and resource requirements within business unit, department, or sub-function. Guides, influences, and persuades others internally in related areas or externally. More than 5 years experience within the semiconductor field. Etch, CVD, PVD, or RTP experience is preferred. Masters degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
