Piazza Restaurant & Bar is owned by long time locals who brought their dream to fruition opening in July of 2020! A new restaurant opening is a risk in itself, but we have thrived in our amazing location even throughout the pandemic! Piazza serves delicious Mediterranean/Italian/Spanish inspired dishes, small plate style, along with specialty cocktails and a unique but affordable selection of wines and local brews!

As a server at Piazza, YOU create the environment for our guests to feel like they are familia at a lovely eatery in the heart of Europe. The owners were inspired by their own travels in Italy & Spain and they returned home with a vision: to create a similar experience in Carson City’s own Bob McFadden Plaza, with amazing wines, great cocktails, stellar service, and food options worth getting excited about!

Your Role is to ….

• Hospitality at 1,000% each shift. You are there to make each guest feel special each visit = whether it is their first time or their hundredth time
• Demonstrate a knowledge and skill of customer service and food service
• Communicate a current knowledge of our menu selections
• Ensure consistent beverage and food quality
• Takes food (chef inspired small plates) and beverage orders from guests via POS system
• Follows all sanitation and safety policies
• Maintains a safe working environment and report any safety issues to management immediately
• Maintains valid state and local alcohol and server certifications
• Advise General Manager of any non-routine situations
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Primary Qualifications

✓ Outstanding hospitality/customer service skills – Comfortable striking up a conversation with all guests, assisting them where needed and ensuring they are satisfied throughout their stay

✓ Amazing and Upbeat Personality. How we make our guests feel each visit is just as important as the taste.

✓ Must be 21 years old.

• Holiday and Sunday Brunches 10am-3pm
• Weekend availability (we are hoping to expand to Sunday Brunch every weekend very soon)
