WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a CNC Grinder , you may be responsible for but not limited to:
- Set up and operate CNC IDOD grinders.
- Check parts for conformance to specifications.
- Machines parts to specified tolerances.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures described in the Employment Handbook.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ten or more years of related work experience
- Knowledge of close tolerance parts.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Surface grind, Honing machining, and Jig grinding experience is a plus.
- Some knowledge of machining techniques and methods.
- Requires the ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and written work instructions in the English language.
- Be a team player who can perform in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
- Quality-oriented with a hands-on personality, "do it right the first time" personality.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to work individually and handle multitasking.
- Ability to take instructions and communicate instructions as needed.
