Position Overview:
We're seeking a passionate and dedicated psychiatric nurse practitioner who is ready to make a difference. The ideal candidate should be board-certified or possess documented psychiatric experience (new grads also encouraged to apply), with a focus on providing exceptional care to geriatric patients. While experience in skilled nursing facilities or assisted living facilities is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Offer compassionate care and support to geriatric patients facing mental health challenges.
- Adapt and customize schedules to meet individual lifestyle needs and financial goals.
Qualifications:
- Board certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in working with geriatric patient populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Skilled nursing facility or assisted living facility experience preferred but not required.
