Per Mar Security Services has been a family owned and operated, full-service security company since its inception in 1953. We provide security officer, electronic security, fire alarm and background and investigative services, serving customers in multiple states throughout the Midwest region.
Per Mar Security Services is looking to hire a full-time security officer for GPC in Muscatine, Iowa. This is an industrial setting.
Duties include: Allowing access to the site for deliveries and visitors. Completing rounds. Other duties as assigned by account manager. This position may require the ability to stand for long periods of time.
Work schedule consists of 12 hour shifts, 6 p.m.- 6 a.m. Will work 3 days one week, and 4 days the next week. Wednesday (or Thursday) - Saturday.
Hourly pay of $15.90. This is an unarmed position.
You must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor traffic entering and exiting the plant.
- Perform assigned rounds.
- Report any facility issues and address security concerns
- Request emergency personnel for applicable situations

Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Strong attention to detail
- Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
