Job Title: I.T Proposal Capture ManagerJob Location: Tampa, FLSalary: Competitive, Depends on Qualifications Clearance: Not requiredTravel: NonePurpose: People, Technology and Processes, LLC (PTP) is currently seeking a Capture Manager with a proven track record of success in winning Information Technology business across DoD. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of success in building and leading multidisciplinary capture teams and winning targeted programs. It is important for the candidate to have some experience leading large, complex, strategic captures that will drive growth. Critical skills include strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, a relentless focus on winning business, and current industry relationships within both the customer and contractor communities.Responsibilities
  • Manage and leverage resources to qualify and capture opportunities
  • Achieve growth goals through winning new business, securing contract recompetes, and driving organic program growth
  • Support the development of customer and/or market penetration strategies and individual opportunity win strategies, account plans, technology development plans, and partnering strategies
  • Interface with customer communities and build relationships through effective communications with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and execute strategies to "shape" requirements and acquisition strategies
  • Assist in shaping opportunities by demonstrating PTP technology solutions, architectures, capabilities, and potential acquisition vehicles (IDIQs) for opportunities, working with internal technical, service-related and program management teams to develop responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), market surveys, white papers, presentations, briefings, major event demonstrations, and proposals in response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of experience OR Master’s Degree plus 6-10 years of experience is required.
  • Prior military service preferred
  • 6-10 years related work experience with the majority related to business development, capture, and/or technical solutions for DoD customers
  • A successful record of supporting and winning contracts with DoD customers
  • Proven experience in building relationships with strategic teaming partners (prime and sub)
  • Ability to develop and mature key relationships within customer organizations
  • Ability to operate independently but still retain an enterprise focus
  • Demonstrated understanding of customer needs as they align with PTP’s capabilities
  • Proven ability to structure key partnerships and alliances and to establish and grow new relationships (critical success factors)
  • Must demonstrate high energy, integrity, strong business acumen, professionalism, and commitment
  • Highly effective communicator to all levels within the company and with customers
  • Demonstrated experience with the rules, regulations, and characteristics of the Federal Government acquisition process
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required
