TITLE: Warehouse Technician

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive inbound shipments, document condition, locate and document location of items and prepare items for load out at

the warehouse. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and employees to share knowledge and improve outcomes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

PROBLEM-SOLVING:

Create an environment where employees feel compelled to reduce human struggle and waste.

Model and encourage others to highlight, track and help solve problems.

Use the following framework for problem-solving:

Use visual tools for communication of past, present and future problem solving.

Develop others to share and test knowledge and ideas that improve the quality and speed of workflow.

PERFORMANCE:

Provide project and customer-appropriate solutions that help us win and retain customers.

Receive, store, pull and stage furniture in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Manage inventory accuracy for sold order and asset management customers.

Manage the merchandise return policy to ensure warehouse is organized and that product is documented, and

disposition plan is carried out.

Response times and quality of internal and external communications and deliverables must meet or exceed customer

expectations.

Create and Provide Visual Tools to manage workload and share progress towards goals (KPI’s).
