West Texas Premix Pits is Hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician Near Odessa, TX
Job Description
West Texas Premix Pits is currently seeking an experienced diesel technician to make repairs and service various pieces of equipment such as 18 wheelers, Trailers, Heavy Equipment and pick-up trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Make repairs on semis (engine, braking, electronic systems)
- Specialize in diesel mechanics (Cummins, Paccar, Duramax, Powerstroke)
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
- Make inspections to ensure that all vehicles are compliant
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a mechanic
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
