*SUMMARY OF POSITION*:
The RN Inpatient Nurse assesses patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. The inpatient Registered Nurse administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. The RN may advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. The inpatient RN will maintain accurate, detailed reports and records and administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects. The RN will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient's conditions.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):*
* Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact required.
* BLS required prior to orientation completion.
*PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):*
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
*UNIT DESCRIPTION:*
Nurses in this 35-bed acute care unit care for adult patients of various medical and surgical specialties, including plastic surgery, oncology and end of life care/hospice. The unit also specializes in chemotherapy and geriatrics with a six-bed wing dedicated for dementia patients. Training is provided to certify nurses in Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE).

Pay: $34.60 - $51.91 per hour
