As a Pediatric/Neonatal Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer with Harris Health System, you will provide cardiac ultrasound services in various locations, such as Level II and Level III NICU as well as the Newborn Follow Up Clinic. Your responsibilities will include producing high-quality cardiac ultrasound images of the hear and great vessels, assessment of myocardial function, recording of hemodynamic measurements, and visualization of blood flow using 2D, M-mode, color-flow, and spectral Doppler. The Diagnostic Sonographer will need to be comfortable performing trans-thoracic and trans-esophageal echocardiography ultrasounds on neonatal and pediatric patients. You will also serve as a preceptor to staff and students as well as assist with patient scheduling and procedures to ensure efficient workflow.
