About the Role The Lead Mechanical Engineer - Chassis will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems related to our Chassis platform. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of designs and meet project deadlines. The ideal candidate will be fully proficient in Catia and Solidworks, with experience in the vehicle industry. The candidate must have experience with the typical vehicle chassis systems: axles, wheels, tires, braking system, suspension and shocks, mounts and structure; also, experience on interfaces and integration between chassis systems/components and powertrain, body and other vehicle systems. Previous experience with vehicle dynamics, stability and simulations. Responsibilities
Design and develop electro-mechanical, chassis components and systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of designs
Conduct feasibility studies and analyze data to optimize designs
Create detailed engineering CAD models, drawings and documentation
Perform and coordinate testing and validation of mechanical systems
Troubleshoot and resolve chassis mechanical issues
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering and chassis components and systems
Provide technical support to manufacturing and production teams
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferred on chassis systems and components
Proficiency in Catia and Solidworks
Experience in the vehicle industry is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
