The **Technical Inventory Specialist** performs the following responsibilities:

* Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.

* Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.

* Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves and organizes warehouse.

* Processes and/or approves invoices for payment.

* Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.

* Analyze/compare supplier options and make recommendations to source product.

* Establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with critical suppliers.

* Surface issues in a timely manner and proactively address future challenges.

**Essential Qualifications, Skills and Abilities**

* 4 years proven experience in inventory and warehouse management.

* 2 years proven experience in sourcing, purchasing, supplier management and /or procurement processes.

* Audio, AV and/or digital audio skills desired but not required.

* Demonstrated flexibility to successfully deal with competing priorities.

* Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical terminology to people with limited or no technical understanding.

* Proactive and solutions driven. Ability to address challenges in a timely manner.

* Proven ability to manage deadlines and budgetary limitations.

* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work calmly under pressure, multitask and prioritize.

* Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills, ERP systems experience.

* Considerable physical activity. May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs.

* Position holder to be available after hours when required to support international teams and operational issues as needed.
