Our EDDA-Dental Assistants are a vital part of our team and assist our doctors in delivering the highest standard of care in a patient-focused, goal-oriented office. If you have two or more years as a Dental assistant, are eager to learn and grow, and have a solid chairside manner and ability to work in a fast-paced office, we want to hear from you. We seek a dynamic EDDA-Dental Assistant with a great work ethic to join our team full-time. Our ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, organized, energetic, personable, detail-oriented, and committed to exceptional patient care.Your responsibilities as an EDDA-Dental Assistant include, but are not limited to:Provide outstanding customer service with an excellent chairside mannerBe conscious of the doctor's schedule and assist with efficient patient flowAssist office and doctor in maintaining patient records and informed consent documentsAssist dentist in utilizing proper four-handed dentistry techniques, observing universal precautionsMaintain patient comfort before, during, and after dental proceduresChart existing dentistry and current conditions in a computerized dental chartCapture diagnostic digital radiographs as ordered by the dentistTake impressions and assist with lab tasks as neededMaintain dental operatories organized and clean, assuring appropriate instruments and supplies were available.Sterilize and/or disinfect instruments, handpieces, and ancillary equipment.Comply with office policies and procedures.Assume the standard of care related to infection control; all OSHA guidelines & safety are upheld at the station they are assigned.We offer an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, a matching 401K, uniform allowance, mentorship, and growth and development opportunities.
