is seeking a Numerical Control Programmer 3 in Everett, WA.

Searching for QTY 2 Composite NCP to provide Numerical Control Programming Expertise within the Pre-Cure / Green Part Space to support the manufacturing of detail parts within the Everett site
Looking for skilled Programmers to create, verify, & revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation that directs the operation of Optical Layup Template & Ultrasonic Knife Cutting equipment
In addition, the successful candidates will be able to provide machine operator instructions/documentation for automated or numerically controlled equipment such as AFPs and ATLMs.

Responsibilities :

Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical experience

Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility

Plans, creates, verifies, and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools, and assemblies for departmental work

Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software, and equipment

Works under general direction

Basic Hiring Criteria :

Associate's degree in a related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Desired Qualifications :

The ideal applicants will be experienced in the following areas:

Composite Fabrication & Techniques

NC Traditional CAD / CAM Systems

Trim, Drill, AFP, ATLM Equipment

Composite Tooling (such as mandrels and fixtures)

Defect reduction, Root cause

Corrective action, Problem-solving

Pre-Cure Composites Manufacturing:

CATIA V5

NS2/nesting experience

OLT (Optical Laser Template)
