JOB TITLE: Digital Print Operator - Bolger Direct
REPORTS TO: Digital Print Supervisor or Lead
Position Summary
The Digital Print operator is responsible for ensuring best practices within the digital print department. Operators will support each other in operator training, team building, and the quality and efficiency of printed materials for Bolger Direct digital print facility. The Digital Print Operator will monitor workflow in all areas that affect the requirements of each customer's printed program.
Digital Print Operators will provide support to the digital workflow at the Print on Demand Center at Bolger Direct. Digital Print operators will work directly with other Digital Print operators on troubleshooting files, problem-solving, color management, imposition and any other duties necessary in the production process. This position will require different print substrates to be analyzed and color managed according to the needs of the customer. The Digital Print Operator must also be able to establish and maintain a strong relationship with Sale representatives, Production Project Managers, Account Managers and Production Staff. The Digital Print Operator must be able to work effectively within a team environment and all levels of the company.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
III. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum High school education is required. Knowledge in support of Digital Print B/W and Color capabilities and equipment a must. Ability to handle multiple task functions in a fast pace, high demand environment. Must be self-motivated and able to take direction from numerous sources. Must be able to trouble shoot and resolve problems independently or through others. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work autonomously, with little direction, and possess good organizational and scheduling skills. Must possess strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and coordinate multiple simultaneous activities with little supervisory direction. Must test in the normal range for color blindness. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The job is subject to interruptions and is involved with fellow employees, Sales, vendors and customers under all conditions or circumstances, including those who are occasionally upset or hostile. Work includes walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting during working hours, and at times continuous reprioritization of schedule to meet customer satisfaction.
