Job Description:

Responsible for performing massage services in the manner trained by the Spa. Direct all efforts toward guest satisfaction, the achievement and maintenance of Omni standards and profit maximization.

NOTE: Must be available for Friday and Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Adhere to all standard policies and procedures.
  2. Perform all guest activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner, at all times maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  3. Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with management and fellow associates in all Omni departments. Help achieve our common goals of maximizing guest satisfaction and profit margins.
  4. Maintain a positive attitude towards co-workers and the job being performed.
  5. Report to work on time in a properly cleaned and pressed uniform. Hygiene is key in this environment due to the close proximity working with the clients. At no time is cigarette smoke allowed to be on the hands, hair, clothes, or breath of a spa employee during a shift.
  6. Adhere to a professional relationship with clients of The Spa. Discussion of internal matters of any sort with clients is not permitted.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide consistent professional services in accordance with spa protocols.
  2. Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spas policies and procedures.
  3. Properly care for equipment and implements and tools and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
  4. Have complete knowledge and understanding of all massage services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.
  5. Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
  6. Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
  7. Handle guests questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
  8. Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  9. Possess ability to work without direct supervision.
  10. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
  11. Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings.
  12. Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
  13. Perform all services for which training has been received in the allotted period and without personal interpretation of the treatment application.
  14. Promote and sell retail products.
  15. Keep work area neat and clean at all times, personal items should never be visible.
  16. Keep work area stocked with sufficient supplies for a full day of operation.
  17. Clean equipment and common areas used after performing services.
  18. Properly use authority within given guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction.
  19. Inform managers of ways to improve overall operation of the spa, your working experience and the comfort of our guests.
  20. Assist other departments whenever necessary (and available).
  21. Attend all training sessions, learning new techniques to be used in the performance of the job.
  22. Attend Omni required training classes.
  23. Maintain current certifications/licenses to be displayed in the Spa. A copy will be kept on file in the Spa. It is the therapists responsibility to never allow this license to expire. If this happens, the associate will be removed from the work schedule.
  24. Perform any reasonable tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
  25. Report any maintenance problems throughout the spa to the proper authority.
  26. Stay current and educated with new treatments and products in the Spa industry.
  27. Promote self as well as other Spa, Hotel and Club affiliates and services.
  28. Must maintain client and spa business confidentiality/privacy at all times.
  29. Must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must be available for Friday and Saturday shifts.
  2. Must speak fluent English.
  3. Must be a certified and licensed Massage Therapist.
  4. Must be able to deal with people in a professional manner under pressure.
  5. Must have previous experience as a massage Therapist.
