We are seeking a Senior Program Analyst who will be responsible for managing all aspects of payment processes for the Final Mile 3PL Network. This individual will be a key member of the business team supporting systems related to pay and executing strategic initiatives to improve overall processes. The role will involve overseeing all payment transactions and documentation related to 3PL vendors, acting as the primary point of contact for payment inquiries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve payment concerns. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in pay systems, the ability to conduct user acceptance testing, provide training to accounts payable professionals at 3PLs, and reduce the number of system defects to improve timeliness and accuracy of payment. Additionally, the Senior Program Analyst will oversee special PO requests, collaborate with stakeholders on process improvements, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting accuracy. The role requires adaptability to adapt to changing business needs, effective communication skills with cross-functional teams, and the ability to navigate dynamic challenges.

How You'll Create Possibilities
  • Payment Point of Contact for 3PLs: Responsible for addressing Final Mile Platform Payment inquiries from the 3PL Network and internal GEA when necessary. Collaborates with IT Support, GE Appliances Field Region Managers, Distribution call center team (DSSO), and cross-track teams to resolve Final Mile system payment concerns.
  • As the Pay Subject Matter Expert, responsible for approving, as well as supporting all system changes related to pay by maintaining Pay User Stories and conducting User Acceptance Testing in the QA environment for Final Mile Payments to 3PLs.
  • Provide support & guidance for Pay processes which includes maintaining standard operating requirement documentation, provide onboarding training to new 3PLs on Oracle System tools (OBIA, iSupplier and EBS) as well as conduct monthly ongoing virtual training sessions.Partner with IT OPS support team to quickly identify root cause and identify permanent fix for system issues impacting payment to 3PLs. Focus on improving the success rate of Oracle EBS pay processing, as well as continuous improvement of payment reconciliation tools.
  • Oversee supplier data, reports, and payments for all 3PLs. Main point of contact for the annual internal GE Appliances controllership pay audit, ensuring financial compliance and accuracy. Tasks include managing supplier information, analyzing payments, and collaborating with internal teams and 3PLs for seamless payment processes.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to assess the current payment strategy, identify areas for enhancement, and jointly implement improvements aimed at optimizing the payment processes and ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Own reviewing and approving special purchase orders for services provided by 3PLs that are not part of the regular payment system. This involves verifying the documentation of work, following company policies, and authorizing financial transactions for expenses. Work with stakeholders to resolve any problems and ensure accurate payments for non-standard services by 3PLs.
  • This role may also be responsible for additional projects as needed.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Position Requirement:
  • Self-starting leader with 5 or more years of work experience in Finance or related field with excellent verbal & written communication, as well as people skills & ability to work/collaborate within a team.
  • Ability to implement sustainable processes and gain buy-in from senior business leaders.
  • Initiative-taker who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong functional understanding of technology, ability to quickly identify system issues and communicate to IT for resolution.
  • Strong data analysis and self-directed
  • Demonstrated ability to independently develop, manage and implement aggressive project plans. Execution-focused work ethic.
  • Experience with training and communication across business functions with strong influencing skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel or Access or SQL skills
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Business or Finance from an accredited university or college.
  • 5 years of work experience in Finance or related field
  • Experience in project management and execution skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong process orientation; comfortable with change
  • High energy level with excellent people skills
  • Previous business experience with Oracle EBS & Tableau
  • Experience in a fast-paced B2C & B2B environment.
  • Strong business acumen with proven history for performance and leadership.
  • Proficiency and experience working with innovative technology: Tech-Savvy
  • Experience with Smartsheet & JIRA
  • Root Cause Analysis / DMAIC
Working Conditions:
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
  • 5-10% travel required for domestic and/or international travel to 3PLs, customer sites/ plants, etc.
