We serve various industries such as automotive, building & construction, consumer products, medical, and packaging.Location: Rochester, New YorkPosition Summary: We are seeking a proactive Lead Field Service Engineer to join our team in Fulton, New York. The ideal candidate will oversee equipment installation, provide technical support to customers, coordinate with contractors, and ensure quality standards are met during project execution.Key Responsibilities:Supervise the installation of equipment according to engineering standards.Act as a point of contact for customers during equipment installation and startup.Manage and coordinate contractors involved in the installation process.Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and suppliers to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.Train machine operators and maintenance staff on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.Conduct Mechanical Quality Assurance checkouts at customer sites.Perform optical alignment of equipment using tools like Theodolite and Optical Levels.Provide technical assistance to customers in troubleshooting and servicing equipment.Update drawings based on 'as built' configurations and submit service reports.Offer feedback to the Manuals Department to improve equipment setup instructions.Perform mechanical alignments of motor couplings, drive belts, and other drive arrangements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred; a two-year degree/certification in engineering technology, electronics, or electro-mechanical areas is a plus.2-4 years of experience in servicing converting equipment is advantageous.Proficient in reading mechanical drawings, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.Familiarity with optical alignment tools and computer software (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word).Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for effective interaction with stakeholders.Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 80%) with a valid passport.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan and schedule daily activities.Preferred Skills:AdaptabilityCommunicationDependabilityLoyaltyOrganizational SkillsOral and Written CommunicationProfessionalismThis role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working in a dynamic environment with a diverse group of people.Company Description TradeUp Careers LLC is a licensed staffing company based out of Wayne County, NY.
