Sunrise Vista Behavioral Health -

New Vista Health and Wellness is currently recruiting an Outpatient Therapist / Counselor for a Full Time Day Shift position at Sunrise Vista, a premier Behavioral Health Hospital in the Canton, OH area.

Licensure: LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC required.

Pay Range - $60-65k

The position requires a Master's level degree in Social Work or related field. Candidates must have an active license to practice in the State of Ohio in Social Work or Counseling (LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC) and must have experience in groups and substance abuse treatment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify as Outpatient Therapist/Counselor, you must have:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field required
  • An active license to practice in the State of Ohio in Social Work or Counseling (LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC).
  • Experience with psychiatric population and group therapy. Substance use treatment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to be a team player. Ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies.
  • Basic computer literacy skills.
  • Knowledge of social services practices and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Outpatient Therapist / Counselor, you will:

  • Facilitate Intensive Outpatient Program groups.
  • Provide individual psychotherapy to patients with psychiatric conditions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Provide direct social work services to patients as part of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Accept direction from the Program Director.
  •  Providing clinical supervision for Social Worke pursuing independent licensure.
