Do you enjoy driving new cars? Are you a problem solver with mechanical aptitude? Wallenius Wilhelmsen is looking for motivated people to join our team as a Driver.

 WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Shuttle brand new vehicles from the port to our facility
• Vehicle handling: 
  • Adhere to established quality, environmental local and safety standard.
  • Check for a survey, is it signed or dotted.
  • Drive defensively. Obey all local traffic laws and speed limits.
  • park vehicles in straight lines, spaced evenly, follow all parking procedures
  • Maintain a clean Shuttle van and work area.

  • Perform a walk around the vehicle before moving (flat tire, other damage not noted)
  • Perform duties in other areas as required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

A good fit for this position has a safe driving record, valid driver’s license, and excellent work history. To join our team you are ready and able to: Work in all weather conditions; extreme hot and cold, rain, snow, etc.

• Drive standard and automatic transmissions vehicles into tight spaces
• A driver's license and clean driving record is required
• Ability to understand instructions and yard flow process
• Walk and stand for much of your day in all weather conditions
• TWIC card will be needed for this role
• 10 years of driving history
• High School Diploma, G.E.D or Equivalent preferred

At Wallenius Wilhelmsen and across our businesses, salaries are determined by position, level, location, and similar factors. The pay or salary range listed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum projected rate of pay for the specific position across our United States locations. Equally as important, as a team member, individual earnings may consider knowledge, skills, abilities, work location and related factors. The current hourly rate for this position is $17.50 per hour. Wallenius Wilhelmsen team members are also eligible for annual merit-based salary adjustments, and participation in competitive benefit programs. Some roles in the company may offer an additional annual bonus. Additional details on salary or pay ranges and benefits will be available through the interview and employment process. Salary or pay ranges are separate from bonus opportunities and/or benefit plans. At Wallenius Wilhelmsen benefits and perks listed here may vary depending on the nature of employment with Wallenius Wilhelmsen and the country work location.
