Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Technician, Maintenance Engineer) for our first shift. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment and systems, including mechanical and electrical systems. You will also evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to enhance efficiency and yield, perform equipment failure analyses, troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems, and prepare technical reports to document preventative maintenance issues.

Qualifications
  • General knowledge of basic troubleshooting skills with ability to assist with repairs and diagnostics of advanced processing equipment, CNC, material handling system, press brakes, lifting devices, and sawing equipment.
  • Maintenance experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems, typically demonstrated by work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, completion of an electrical or mechanical repair training program, or an acceptable combination of training and experience.
  • Ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks on material handling and processing equipment including, but not limited to, calculating, laying out and drawing; balancing and aligning equipment; performing rigging activities, safety-related functions and other miscellaneous maintenance functions; utilizing or fabricating parts needed from various materials; maintaining electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes; programming Variable Frequency Drives; troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers; and testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
