Job title : Cabinet Branch Manager

Salary : Base salary starting at $89k to $111k depending on experience

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm

Location : Fife, Washington

The Cabinet Branch Manager is responsible for utilizing the company's FACE values, mission, and vision as guides in order to lead their employees and reach the yard's goals. This is accomplished through servant leadership and managing of the team.

This position is also responsible for implementing operational strategies and objectives to ensure the locations's goals. As a manager, this position is expected to be involved in their community in some fashion, set time aside for self-improvement and always strive to be a better leader.

This position directly reports to the Regional Operations Manager. The Cabinet Branch Manager interacts daily with all yard employees (in the store and outside) and customers. This position interacts regularly with corporate employees (Central Purchasing Department, Account Management Team, Sales Managers, Human Resources, IT Department, and the PARR Leadership Team) as well as interacting regularly with vendor representatives and industry associates.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cabinet purchasing principles, practices and protocols.
  • Knowledge of home and commercial construction, remodeling and renovation principles, practices and protocols preferred
  • Knowledge of the effects of "market conditions" upon the cabinets industry
  • 3 years prior supervisory/management experience required
  • High School Diploma required, College degree preferred
  • Must be able to operate personal computer, smartphone, scanner, and any other equipment necessary for the job
  • Must be able to type 40 WPM
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 2020 is required

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve your Cabinet Branches annual sales, profit and key metrics projections
  • Review daily and monthly reports to identify and correct problems in a timely manner related to invoicing, inventory, payroll (hours of service), and sales transactions
  • Financial and cash control duties (cash/credit audits, deposits to bank, etc.)
  • Prepare, monitor and control annual budget for the facility
  • Ensure an appropriate level of inventory is maintained at the facility
  • Ensure merchandising programs are implemented * Collaborate with other Branch Managers to assure Regional Sales, Gross profit and net contributions are met
  • Manage, supervise and direct the team to the high standards of Parr
  • Complete 90 day and annual reviews for each team member
  • Daily/weekly/monthly coaching
  • Enforce all company policies
  • Complete bi-weekly payroll
  • Create regular schedule for employees
  • Complete all location hiring
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and vendors
  • Continually update product knowledge and selling techniques
  • Achieve your Cabinet Branch's annual profit projections * Responsible for all safety issues
  • Complete all monthly safety and fleet reports
  • Promptly report all accidents/incidents
  • Conduct/monitor accident investigations
  • Ensure cleanliness of facility

This position works outside in a retail lumberyard location in all weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work indoors in a normal office environment for an entire day
  • Must be able to grasp, talk, hear, and operate a computer and keyboard
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment at varying temperatures as needed.
  • Must be able to routinely lift 25 lbs., occasionally lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Must be able to drive a vehicle when necessary
  • Required to do job site visits at both remodel and new construction sites
  • Both local and overnight travel may be required
