As a Senior Accountant you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing various financial activities, leveraging your advanced knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. Focus:

• Lead the completion of monthly accounting tasks in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct annual review and enhancement of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements), optimizing internal control effectiveness and efficiency.
• Collaborate with relevant business partners to provide strategic financial analysis and insights, contributing to informed decision-making processes.
• Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements and supporting schedules, presenting findings to management as needed.
• Proactively engage in process improvement initiatives, driving positive change and efficiency gains.
• Perform assigned duties, which may include overseeing plant accounting activities, reporting profit and loss statements, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, and managing accruals/deferrals/amortizations.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• A minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• CPA or similar professional certification preferred, but not required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in generating and managing financial reports.
• Strong knowledge of Internal Controls, Governance, Risk, and Compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and operations, with a track record of delivering valuable insights and recommendations.
• Experience in designing queries and reports using financial systems, enhancing data analysis capabilities.
