Registered Nurse Rates

Standard Rate — $55.00 per hour

Job Description

• Develop, coordinate, and implement comprehensive patient care plans with medical and clinical staff
• Administer medications, perform vital sign checks and medical procedures, and provide therapeutic treatments such as range-of-motion exercises and massage
• Operate medical equipment, monitor and assess patient status, and record patient information in medical records
• Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing and dressing
• Offer education, emotional support, and guidance for patients, families, and caregivers t
• Active state license as a Registered Nurse with no active investigations noted on your license.
• Ensures quality and safe delivery of home care services.
• Implements current nursing practice.
• Fulfills additional performance responsibilities as assigned and as necessary.
• Promotes and maintains an agency environment that complies with Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies.
• Completes all required documentation in accordance with the standards of the agency and regulatory requirements.
• Works effectively with the medical staff, other members of the health care team, and administrative personnel.
• Maintains a cooperative working relationship.
• Any other task as assigned by the facility.

Physical Requirements,

• Able to bend and stand an average of 6 hours per day.
• Lift up to 50-75 pounds.
• Able to write up to 3 hours per day.
• Able to work in a stressful environment.
• Able to assess and communicate with all ill patients, co-workers, and the public.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

All Nurses must complete general nursing orientation, department-specific nursing orientation, education, and competencies with demonstrated proficiency upon hire when duties are modified and as applicable annually thereafter.

• Long Term Care Facility nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
