Med Surg Clear Lake Campus (Nights) - UTMB Health Careers is Hiring a Patient Care Technician I - Med/Surg, Clear Lake Campus Near Webster, TX

CLC Med/Surg-Adult-7th Floor
Minimum Qualifications:
·High school or equivalent AND completion of one of the following technical programs:
oCompletion of a recognized Nurse Assistant program OR
oCompletion of a Medical Assistant program OR
oCompletion of Medical Corpsman program OR
oCompletion of EMT program OR
oCompletion of a UTMB Hospital Aide Training Program OR
oTwo (2) years of experience in a direct patient care environment OR
oCertified MA, PCT, or CNA at time of hire OR
oIs enrolled in a recognized School of Nursing and has completed the first semester of education which contains clinical concepts and health assessment or the equivalent.
·Required: BLS
Job Summary:
To provide basic technical assistance and supportive patient care to meet the needs of individual patients throughout assigned areas.
Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
Day Shift, 7am-7pm, 36 hours per week
