- Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and calibration of manufacturing systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of equipment.
- Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve malfunctions and breakdowns in mechanical, electrical, electronic and manufacturing systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to analyze system problems.
- Programming and Control:
- Write and modify software programs to control PLC systems.
- Configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) panels.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure that manufacturingsystems meet safety regulations and standards.
- Implement safety protocols and conduct risk assessments.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications.
- Create technical manuals and documentation mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of all equipment systems.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineers and other technical professionals to optimize system performance.
- Provide training and guidance to operators and other team members.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest upgrades or enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment needed for repairs.
- Coordinate with procurement for necessary replacements.
- Associate degree or technical certification in mechatronics, electronics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, robotics, and automation systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and using diagnostic tools and software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and risk assessment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing or similar settings is a plus.
