Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is Hiring a Certified Sterile Processing Technician Full Time Evenings Near Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Up to $7,500 Sign-On bonus for experienced Sterile Processing Tech Summary The Certified Central Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the reprocessing of all sterile and non-sterile materials, instruments, and equipment for surgery and other hospital units. Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for manual cleaning and decontamination; operating the mechanical washers and sonic units; testing autoclaves for efficiency and maintaining compliant records; Sterile Processing Technician assists in the recall process as needed. As a Sterile Processing Technician, the technician will also assist in the eduation and training of other staff (e.g., new hires) with respect to quality assurance, performance improvement, and departmental compliance.
Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience 6 months minimum required as CS/SPD Tech or other relevant
