LHH is seeking a experienced litigation secretary interested in a full-time, job opportunity in Jacksonville, FL. You will be expected to be highly familiar with local and state court rules, as well as federal and state filing and e-filing. You will be responsible for drafting, formatting, and proofreading correspondence and legal documents, including pleadings and discovery responses; filing and e-filing in state and federal courts; calendar management; legal research; and other tasks as assigned. You will also be responsible for administrative tasks, including attorney time entry, routing incoming mail, coordinating teleconferences and meetings, scheduling depositions, and monitoring deadlines and schedules. The ideal candidate will be a pleasure to work with, with a no-task-too-small, proactive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills supporting top-notch customer service skills. Qualifications:
4 years of litigation secretary or assistant experience
Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat or Nuance; knowledge of SharePoint and NetDocs is preferred
Typing speed of 65wpm or higher with high accuracy
Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail
Great communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, no-job-too-small mindset
Salary: $60,000-$65,000/yr.
