We are looking for aSr. Event Marketing Specialist (Executive Experience) , and a leader-doer to design and deliver 'best-in-SaaS' executive experiences that drive business outcomes and deepen relationships between PagerDuty leaders and the executives of our key Enterprise customers.We are looking for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area ONLY at this time.We need a teammate with outstanding business acumen, deep customer empathy, strong executive presence, precise attention to detail, a penchant for collaborating with cross-functional teams, and a love for bringing truly great brand experiences to life in imaginative, practical ways. Approximately 50% of this person's time will be directed to enabling our EBC strategy and execution, and 50% will be directed to the design and successful delivery of PagerDuty-hosted executive events.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Act as the Program Manager to build a framework for identifying and prioritizing the types of Executive Briefing Center (EBC) experiences that PagerDuty will host for Enterprise customersDevelop the ideal-state customer journey connected to EBC, including pre-, during-, and post-event experiences and touchpointsApply best-in-class practices not just from B2B events, but beyond - including in consumer technology, media/entertainment, music, theater, sports, and more - to create inspired possibilities for experiences at EBCs and other executive events at PagerDutyEstablish a strong relationship with our Executive Team, sales leaders, and strategic partners, and work to incorporate their ideas and feedback into EBC experiencesCreate starter agendas, content, email templates, and account briefs to be used at EBCs and in communications between PagerDuty and customer teamsPersistently raise the bar on the experience of the PagerDuty brand, partnering with PagerDuty's creative team and agency partners to create artifacts and execute moments that make our events stand out in the tech/SaaS landscapeManage and own logistics and execution of EBCs, including partnering with internal teams, working on event logistics, overseeing swag fulfillment/inventory levels, setting and defining goals and metrics, and ensuring that EBCs drive ROIOwn the PagerDuty EBC scheduling and calendaring process for top strategic accountsManage downstream account tracking mechanisms in SalesforceProvide onsite support for in-person EBCs in San Francisco approximately monthlyBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:At least 5 years of previous experience in a marketing, sales, or customer-facing role within a fast-growing organization3 years of experience successfully designing and delivering events targeted to specific audiencesStrong understanding of the SaaS sales process and the unique role EBCs play across customer acquisition, retention, and growthA proven track record of building credibility and maintaining relationships with executives and go-to-market teams across a companyExcellent writing, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing skillsAn uncanny ability to inspire buy-in and motivate the team to execute successfully and enthusiasticallyAbility to travel as needed to support event execution (10-15%)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:An outstanding executive presence and business acumenA clear vision and distinctive POV for what next-generation event experiences can look like for executive attendees (including planning, content, the creative process, the pre- and post-event experience, etc.)Previous experience successfully managing vendors, including agencies, space management, audio/visual, entertainment, signage, and speakersA deep passion for brand and bringing brand to life through outstanding customer experiencesThe base salary range for this position is 100,000 - 156,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position.
