Pacific Skin and Cosmetic Dermatology is looking for an experienced and professional Practice Manager to lead our Dermatology Offices in Corte Madera and San Francisco. 

The ideal candidate is self driven and will have a proven track record in management, with strong skills in employee motivation and organization. As Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our two clinics, ensuring efficient and successful practice management that prioritizes optimal patient care. A robust background in human resources management is essential. We are looking for a leader who can engage and inspire our staff, enhancing both patient and employee experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide staff management and support, assure effective, high-quality operations for one surgeon, and three mid level providers. 
  • Maintain an adequate presence within the office to ensure the smooth operation of all areas and the coordination of all staff.
  • Meet with executives for financial, operational, and other practice management.
  • Design and implement policies for workplace improvements to achieve greater productivity and consistency. Exercises some latitude to consider appropriate procedures and practices to achieve end results.
  • Daily operations oversight: Educating support team and leads for efficient clinic operations, patient scheduling/flow, inventory, insurance verification, and technology infrastructure, serving as primary coordinator, trainer, and/or system administrator
  • Financial management: Collaborate with biller and accountant on AR, budgetary requirements and constraints, and other financial aspects of the practice. Experience in PNL management preferred.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with MIPS, HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA and other regulatory requirements and standards.
  • A commitment to positive relationship building with patients, staff, vendors, referral physicians, subcontractors, marketing team, consultants and other external partners
  • Perform high level administrative functions, including and not limited to preparing, auditing, analyzing and tracking statistical data, composing written documents and procedures, HR implementation and documentation, and ensuring quality control standards are maintained while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Handle escalated patient inquiries, complaints, and billing issues
  • Overseeing overall marketing activities of the practice, including socials, website, PR, and other digital strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a healthcare setting with 3 years of supervision/management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required and work-related experience
  • Previous experience in medical office registration, scheduling, medical assisting, management and/or billing
  • Experience with electronic practice management and medical records systems a must. Use of Modernizing Medicine, Microsoft 365, and Square a plus.
  • Prior experience in specialty care office operations, preferably in a management role. Preference will be given to those with Dermatology and Mohs Surgery experience.
  • Strong quantitative skills; budgeting, financial, and making management decisions by metrics.
  • Multi-facility management.
