Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Registrar to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient service and possess knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist patients during the registration process
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
- Schedule appointments and maintain medical records
- Answer phones and direct calls appropriately
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care

Requirements:

- Experience in a medical office setting or similar environment
- Proficiency in medical scheduling and terminology
- Familiarity with phone systems and patient service protocols
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous experience in a dental office or urgent care is a plus
