PACCAR Winch is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the

Production Supervisor position on 2nd shift in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Job Summary:
Manages Union production staff to attain production and quality goals. Identifies problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolves issues. Ensures production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain production schedules. Supports continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost and customer service. Leads team members to identify, manage, and execute the factory process improvement opportunities. Responsible for managing and owning various functions of the business and creating an engaged and team-oriented work force in order to improve business results.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities

:
Implement and assign work schedule to maximize utilization of manpower, machines, and equipment. Ensure schedule adherence.
Defines expected production standards and monitors performance standards of assigned personnel.
Plan staffing and cross-training to meet changing production demands.
Administer and support company policies and procedures and/or labor contract provisions in a fair and consistent manner.
Prepares reports and/or presentations formanagement as needed and coordinates activities with other departments as necessary.
Ensure adherence to Safety policies, housekeeping expectations, and visual workplace guidelines.
Drive a culture of safety through encouraging engagement in identifying safety issues and responding with urgency to resolve safety concerns.
Drive a quality mindset within team through ensuring team does not accept, make, or pass on poor quality. Lead problem-solving to improve quality.
Ensure adherence to Safety policies, housekeeping expectations, and visual workplace guidelines.
Ensure inspection checks and quality assurance are occurring to produce high quality products.
Drive a quality mindset within team through ensuring team does not accept, make, or pass on poor quality. Lead problem-solving to improve quality.
Develops the team to solve day-to-day operational issues (managing downtime events) and achieving short- and long-term performance goals.
Track and problem-solve productivity. Work with team to continuously identify and remove waste.
Analyze setup time and ensure accuracy, review labor hours, and meet production control schedules.
Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel.
Foster a positive, team orientated working environment.
May serve on various committees/teams and perform special projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate major is preferred, supplemented by formal apprenticeship; or equivalent technical training
Demonstrated supervisory skills during three (3) years of directly related experience in respective trade, craft or skill
Preferably possessing two (2) years of experience with PACCAR Inc.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma strongly desired.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. A very mobile position requiring lots of walking on concrete floors. Must be able to bend, squat, reach, and grab parts and inspect machinery. Must be able to wear PPE, personal protective equipment required to move throughout the shop. This position requires mobility around heavy machinery, forklifts, and loud noise. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
