Job Description: Embroidery Data Entry Clerk

Welcome to the frictionless universe of Outerspace, a new type of 3PL. Our seasoned entrepreneurial leaders, who have built and led operations for companies like Steve Madden, Prada, and Nice Laundry, come from the brand side. We leverage the latest technology to enable high-touch service for high-growth brands and their daily operations. Outerspace provides dynamic services including, but not limited to, warehousing and fulfillment, customization and light manufacturing, and product photography.

Responsibilities

• Translate customization orders from packing slips to embroidery software
• Keep track of work orders and update records in system as necessary
• Inspect projects to ensure they meet quality standards
• Ensure timely completion and delivery of projects
• Troubleshoot problems that arise with your machine and escalate to appropriate personnel as necessary
• Secures information by completing database backups routinely
• Reports discrepancies and deficiencies to proper escalation point as needed
• Verifies entered information is accurate by reviewing, correcting, deleting, and reentering data
• Retrieves information from existing database as requested
• Provide assistance with special projects and data entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis
• Comply with all OSHA and warehouse safety rules and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency in computers and other technology
• Experience operating embroidery machines a plus, but not required
• Ability to read and understand embroidery instructions
• Attention to detail
• Ability to examine and inspect threads, fine details in product
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus, but not required

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, etc., as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop for extended periods of time
