Job Description
Our Lady of Grace Academy and St. Lucy School is seeking a full time 4K-8th grade Art Teacher for the 2024/2025 school year. This is a shared position between two schools. You will only be at one school per day and the lessons and curriculum will be the same for each school. The schools are in close in distance to each other. This position is responsible for teaching general art education to 4K-8th grade students. .
Our Lady of Grace Academy and St. Lucy School are two of seven schools which makeup Siena Catholic Schools of Racine. Siena comprises six elementary/middle schools and one high school that serve more than 1,600 students. Sharing your skills will guide the organization toward its goal of ensuring excellence in academics, nurturing faith formation, and developing healthy students.

Job Summary:
• Inspiring students and promoting mastery in subject area.
• Helping to develop and implement curriculum that aligned with Wisconsin State Standards and Common Core Standards as they evolve.
• Providing continual assessment of student progress and maintaining records.
• Continually evaluating instructional performance to meet the needs of the students.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate subject area.
• Knowledge of application of best teaching practices
• Ability to work in a high achieving school in a diverse environment.
Preferred:
• Demonstrate commitment to the principles of Catholic Faith.
• Appropriate State of Wisconsin licensing and certification.
• Have general knowledge of transformative technology instruction.
