Buyers responsibilities include researching new vendors, tracking deliveries, researching products to purchase, and creating purchase orders.

Ultimately, you will make cost-effective purchases and ensure we maintain a fully stocked inventory.

We provide paid training. No prior experience required

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
• Research potential vendors
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
• Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
• Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
• Prepare cost analyses
• Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
• Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
• Support packing, labeling of merchandise when needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer, or similar role is desired but we can train if you don't have the experience.
• Good computer skills required
• Knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, Outlook
• Great analyzing skills and general curiosity required
• Solid organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $41,600 - $52,000 per year

Supplemental pay types :

Performance based bonuses
