**Overview**

AIR is currently seeking a **Senior Program Manager** to join ourDiversity, Equity, and Inclusion Office (https://www.air.org/our-commitment-diversity-equity-and-inclusion) . The DEI Senior Program Manager will manage and implement key diversity, equity and inclusion programs, initiatives, and frameworks to ensure the achievement of diversity objectives across the institution. This role reports to the Vice President, Chief DEI Officer and will work in collaboration with institution wide infrastructure and divisional functions. AIR is seeking a candidate who has demonstrated experience in successfully designing and managing DEI program activities within a multi-faceted global institution. **Responsibilities**

The responsibilities for the position include:

Manage the design, development and implementation of enterprise-level DEI programs/initiatives that advance practice and integration across our portfolio of project work.

Plan and execute program activities in a timely and accurate manner.

Provide subject matter expertise for the conceptualization and design of strategic DEI programs.

Act as a DEI subject matter expert and share diversity-related issues, legislation, best practices, perspective, insights, and knowledge. Provide guidance and maintain frequent communications with program partners.

Design meeting agendas, organize and lead meetings, moderate expert panels and distribute meeting minutes.

Manage and monitor budget preparation and expense management activities for programs.

Conduct program reviews and prepare reports for management. Analyze and troubleshoot program challenges.

Lead on-site meetings and training sessions to advance professional development and continuous learning.

Develop metrics to measure the impact of specific DEI programs, e.g., post program evaluations, and recommendations for continuous quality improvement (CQI).

Collaborate on DEI Office efforts to track and report enterprise and program level metrics as they pertain to DEI program activities and initiatives.

Represent DEI Office at conferences, meetings, and workshops as appropriate.

Support DEI Office team members and other DEI related workgroups and teams.

**Qualifications**

**Education, Knowledge, and Experience:**

Bachelor's **or** Master's degree in the behavioral and social sciences or in related field from an accredited university.

Subject matter expert in diversity, equity, inclusion, and cultural competence.

Previous experience in DEI program management and implementation.

Demonstrated competence in public speaking and professional writing.

Demonstrated competence in critical thinking, and independent decision making.

Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, across functions, across cultural, geographic and time zone boundaries.

**Skills:**

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.

Superior facilitation and coaching skills; knowledge of curriculum development.

Excellent organizational and planning skills to meet quality standards under strict deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft suite, in particular Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Effective communicator continually demonstrating sensitivity to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when writing.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate efficiently in a virtual work environment.

**Disclosures:**

AIRs Total Rewards Program , is designed to reward our staff competitively and motivate them to achieve our critical mission. This position offers an anticipated annual salary of $120,000 - $140,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets. Please note this is the annual salary range for candidates that are based in the United States.
