***HIRING CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT***
$20 per hour. Average hours: 72- 80 hours bi-weekly.
OneSpotMD Primary and Urgent Care is a physician-owned practice in Charlotte, North Carolina. We have 2 locations. We are seeking 2-4 experienced Medical Assistants to join our team. You will float between two clinics. Prefer full time but part time is optional base on availability of the schedule. This is a 12 hour shift position.
Job Description:
-Cross train for clinical and front desk duties
-Check patient in and out
-Verifying insurance
-Triage: Gather and record patient information to include patient medical history, medications, vital signs and other pertinent information
-Assist providers with procedures.
-Dispense medications/injections
-Perform phlebotomy, conduct in-house labs (rapid strep, flu, covid, urine analysis, mono, urine hcg) and laboratory paper work for outsourcing pickups.
-Schedule and confirming outside referrals
Education/Skills:
- Graduate and certified with active Medical
Assistant Certification
- BLS/CP- certified
- Phlebotomy
- Knowledge medical terminology
- Excellent interpersonal skills
