Job Description:

Lead Java Software Development Engineers provide leadership in full systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.) to ensure delivery is on time and within budget. You direct component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance. You develop and lead AD project activities and integrations. You guide teams to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position researches and supports the integration of emerging technologies. You provide knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. You will lead junior team members with project related activities and tasks. You guide and influence department and project teams and facilitate collaboration with stakeholders.

As a Lead Software Development Engineer, you will:

• Leads systems analysis and design.

• Leads design and development of applications.

• Develops and ensures creation of application documents.

• Defines and produces integration builds.

• Monitors emerging technology trends.

• Leads maintenance and support.

• Manage Red Hat OpenShift 4 and Google Kubernetes applications.

• Manage scrum events for the team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field

• Must have a minimum of 10 years expertise in Java, Spring, Spring boot.

• Experience with Loki, Grafana, Dynatrace.

• Knowledge of API Gateway and messaging queue technology are ideal.

• Hybrid working environment; onsite days are required.

• This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

• Excellent communication skills.
