You will serve as the face of Transition Bikes, often being many people's first interaction with our brand. You’ll drive local brand promotion through various channels and platforms, create engaging experiences, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

In this role, you will work directly with customers, sharing knowledge about our company, history, local trails, and general bike information. Additionally, you'll collaborate with team members to promote, organize, and lead events through the Outpost while embodying the company’s ethos.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience
• Manage and curate content for the Outpost's social media channels, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence
• Oversee the Outpost's events calendar, coordinating logistics and executing on-site and off-premise events in collaboration with the marketing team
• Act as a liaison between the Outpost and the company's events and marketing teams, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of promotional activities
• Provide exceptional customer service, share in-depth product knowledge, and assist with bike demos and sales
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts and ensure consistent brand messaging
• Tend the bar and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and bar snacks to customers responsibly and professionally

Preferred Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience in event coordination, social media management, and retail sales
• Familiarity with marketing principles and proficiency in using relevant tools like Google Calendar, email, and social media platforms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Collaborative attitude and a team-player mentality, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Passion for bikes and a deep understanding of our products and their features
• Ability to work weekends
• Must have, or be eligible to earn, a valid M.A.S.T permit to serve Alcohol (Must be 21)
• Must live in, or be willing to relocate to, Bellingham, WA
