Summary
Seking a Plant Engineer with prior manufacturing facility engineering experience to oversee the day-to-day engineering activities and maintenance engineering support at our new manufacturing facility in Zanesville, Ohio.
Responsibilities and Duties
Lead by example and comply with all safety and environmental requirements and Company policies and procedures, including the Code of Business Conduct
Embrace and promote the culture in all day-to-day activities; foster and promote a positive, respectful work environment that is aligned with our Values
Design, plan, install and maintain plant facilities, mechanical and electrical equipment, and systems to optimize business performance; continually evaluate, monitor and improve processes and systems
Provide technical consultation and support to maintenance and operations departments, including troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
Plan and manage execution of capital projects, including associated budgets and training as required
Partner with internal stakeholders to research, engage, and coordinate activities of contractors, suppliers, consultants and insurance representatives; manage those relationships effectively and cost efficiently
Through regular inspections, ensure facility, equipment, and processes are compliant with all safety and environmental regulations
The position may also manage other engineers or interns.
Qualifications/Skills/Requirements
BS degree in mechanical engineering required; PE, MS or MBA a plus
10-15 years of manufacturing facility engineering and project management experience required
Strong leadership, interpersonal and facilitation skills required
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills a must
Reliability Centered Maintenance training a plus
Experience in development and implementation of process improvements that increase plant reliability, productivity, capacity, quality, and efficiency
Capital project management experience
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to engage people and lead through change
Good follow through skills as well as a heightened attention to detail
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, OSHA, and EPA regulations a plus
Flexible work hours required, along with engineering on call duty and occasional travel
