YOUR IMPACT Your role, as HRBP is to act as a strategic partner to leaders in designated business units. You will be responsible for driving HR initiatives that align with Redwood's goals and objectives, while also ensuring that all policies and practices are in compliance with local laws and regulations across our global operations.
In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for managers and employees on a wide range of employment topics. Responsible for providing guidance throughout the entire employee lifecycle, to include on-boarding, employee relations, HR policies, performance management, benefits, engagement, and other employment-related matters as necessary.
- Providing strategic support to business leaders on HR-related matters, including organizational design, talent management, employee engagement, and change management.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Develops letters for new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations.
- Leading and/or supporting HR projects that drive business success and improve employee experience.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies.
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
YOUR EXPERIENCE - Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HRBP role, preferably in a global organization.
- Data driven, analytical with exceptional skill in Excel and Google Worksheets.
- Able to communicate at all levels of the business.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience as an HR business partner, working for a global company.
- Logical thinker that is outcome oriented, drawing conclusions based on factual data and evidence.
- Conscientious with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, diversity, performance management, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred.
