Old Redford Academy is hiring a Media Literacy Teacher for both the middle and elementary campuses. Must have a teacher certification. Position is immediate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and comprehensive media literacy lessons to 8th-grade students.

- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.

- Implement lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular teacher.

- Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback.

- Maintain classroom management and discipline.

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members.

- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities as required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Education, Media Studies, Communications, or related field preferred.

- Previous teaching experience, particularly at the middle school level, is desirable.

- Strong understanding of media literacy concepts and digital media.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide a supportive learning environment.

- Effective classroom management skills.
