Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Columbus, Ohio.
Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:
- $45.00 -$48.50 an hour
- Start: August 19th
- End: May 19, 2025
- Part Time
- Approx. 28H Weekly
- 24-25 School Year
- Caseload: PreK -12th grade
- All on the same campus
- Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
- Ohio SLP License
- Ohio Department of Education Pupil Service licensure, Ohio Medicaid # and NPI #
- American Heart Association BLS
- School Experience is Preferred but not required
- ASHA Certification
