Scope of Position

The Bone Marrow Transplant Data Manager is responsible for all aspects of the program clinical data management that includes assisting with the maintenance and data integrity of the clinical research and decision support database.

Position Summary

The Bone Marrow Transplant Data Manager is responsible for the management of the BMT clinical data. This position works with personnel from the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology, the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital amp; Richard J. Solove Research Institute, and external agencies to ensure that all necessary data is collected and reported as appropriate. This position is also responsible for providing some technical support to the members of the BMT Program.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field. Master's degree in an appropriate field (biological/health sciences) or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Research experience including knowledge of IBM/PC's, operating system and application software (including relational databases, spreadsheets, communications, presentation of graphics and statistical programs required. Ability to trouble shoot PC hardware and software desired.
