About the Position:

Ohio Dominican University's Division of Mathematics, Computer and Natural Sciences seeks an Instructor, Lecturer, or Assistant/Associate Professor in Computer Science for a position beginning August 2024. Instructor/Lecturer could be a part-time or full-time position.

The successful candidate will possess a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution by the time of hire, demonstrate excellence in teaching, and have the capability of teaching in an online environment. Experience in teaching and/or developing cybersecurity and/or information technology courses/program is a bonus.

Additional responsibilities could include maintaining a student research program; development of courses to support the program; advising; and service to the department and related program areas, the division, the university, and the community. The successful candidate will be innovative in preparing students for internships and employment opportunities. An ability to engage with the wider community outside of the university in order to grow enrollment is also desirable.
