Key Responsibilities

Safe Transportation :

Operate a school bus following all traffic laws, safety regulations, and district policies.

Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation, including during embarkation and disembarkation.

Manage student behavior and enforce bus rules to maintain a safe environment.

Route Familiarity :

Be familiar with assigned bus routes, stops, and schedules.

Follow designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.

Keep abreast of any route changes or detours and communicate them to the dispatcher as necessary.

Vehicle Maintenance :

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure that it is in safe operating condition.
