As a Remittance Coordinator, you will work within the larger Accounting Department and will be responsible for collaborating with overseas agents to investigate accounting discrepancies, work towards resolutions for billing disputes, calculate and prepare invoices, and review and adjust financial documents.

Requirements: 

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in handling either accounts payable or accounts receivable is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
• Possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Previous experience in freight forwarding is a plus.
• Previous experience with the CargoWise One ERP system is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and perform necessary adjustments to resolve accounting discrepancies in both accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Monitor aging transactions as related to overseas agents.
• Review and audit the Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to ensure financial accuracy.
• Calculate, prepare, and issue invoices to overseas agents.
• Match a high volume of statements from overseas agents to corresponding invoice payments.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations with overseas agents and provide detailed reports.

Salary: 

• $22-$28/hour based on education and experience level.
