Is a United States Air Force installation located northeast of Little Rock in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Home to the 19th Airlift Wing, LRAFB is a major hub for airlift operations, primarily operating the C-130 Hercules aircraft. The base plays a vital role in training and equipping military personnel for tactical airlift and aerial delivery missions. It is known for its commitment to global mobility, providing airlift support in various contingencies and humanitarian efforts. The base contributes significantly to national defense, serving as a key asset in the U.S. Air Force's strategic airlift capabilities. Facility Address: 1090 Arnold Drive, Little Rock, AR 72099 Dentist - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)
  • The Dentist performs single and multiple teeth extractions.
  • Restore one to five surface carries, including cuspal coverage, using standard and prescribed materials.
  • Make impressions for and deliver removable partial/complete dentures.
  • Utilize CAD/CAM technology to scan and design all fixed dental prostheses, ensuring proper fitting and insertion of the finished prostheses.
  • Restore single-unit implants.
  • The Dentist conducts sick call triage and/or treatment.
  • Identify the appropriate need for referrals and complete referral paperwork.
  • Participate in clinic and team safety huddles.
  • Ensure correct patient identification using the patient's full name and date of birth, performing site verification, and conducting time-outs for all irreversible procedures.
  • Complete all patient coding by the close of business and entries within 72 hours of the encounter.
  • Perform monthly chart reviews and actively participate in Prostaff.
  • The Dentist assigns appropriate dental readiness classification.
Dentist - REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA) and possess a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree.
  • Specialty Dentist must be a graduate of a dental specialty training program that is accredited by the CODA or the ADA or an accepted equivalent program.
  • Certification: Board eligible or board certified as required.
  • Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service Specific Credentialing instruction.
  • Shall have a minimum of one (1) full year experience being employed on a full-time basis in the practice of dentistry or be a recent 1-year graduate of an accredited, post-graduate dentistry training program. Dental specialists shall have a certificate of training in their specialty area from an ADA accredited residency program.
  • Must have a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a dentist.
