POSITION Patio & Garden Warehouse Worker

JOB LOCATION Eau Claire, WI

STARTING DATE Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM Temp-to-hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) 1st shift (8am-5pm, Mon-Fri)

STARTING PAY $14.00-$17.00 per hour DOE

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE One year of warehouse / forklift and shipping and receiving experience

Warehouse Associates will pick, pack and load customer orders and operate a forklift and motorized pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders by picking, packing, and loading packages and pallets (manually or with power equipment) into trailers or onto the conveyor
• Receive shipments of product by unloading packages and pallets (manually or with power equipment) out of trailers or ocean containers
• Move product around the warehouse and into racking (manually or with power equipment)
• Perform daily and weekly housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
• Follow all safety rules
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• One year minimum of warehouse- shipping and receiving experience
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 20lb repetitively and up to 50lb
• Willingness to learn and be a part of a team
• Sense of urgency
• Problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
